Sometimes I wish I was a kid again.

I daydream of the days filled with innocence, laughter, and naivety. I dream of the squeaky swings, the old coloring books, and the incomplete sand castles on the side of the beach. Everyone is growing up too fast now-a-days, claiming to be an adult even though they are still a child. I don’t understand why so many people would want to grow up so fast though. For me, I love the idea of being a kid. No worries, no bullshit, no stress, no guilt, no responsibilities, and plenty of childish fun. One of the best things about being a kid is having the power to be totally care-free about everything and anything. I could be anything I want to be - a princess, a dragon, a superhero - and no one would judge me for being so.
