When you put someone's happiness before yours.
You do it because you love them, but sometimes it hurts. You just want them to understand your pain, but you don’t want to say anything to make them upset. So you sit there in silence, bottling in the hurt. You do it because you don’t want them mad at you. You just want them to be happy.
Then when you actually consider your own happiness, they get hurt instead. It sucks.
